Dr. Plotnikov's research integrates biophysical, cell biological, and molecular approaches to investigate the fundamental mechanisms governing cell migration and mechanosensing, including cytoskeletal dynamics, cell-matrix interactions, calcium signaling, and the cellular response to extracellular fluid viscosity.
