HEaRT Lecture: Out with the Old and in With the New? Statistical Approaches to Understanding Social and Structural Determinants of Health

Literature on social and structural determinants of health has evolved considerably over the years. In this Health, Equity, and Research Talks (HEaRT) lecture, Dr. Arjumand Siddiqi will argue that (a) the evolution of the field has been driven in large part by changes in statistical approaches used in the field and, (b) changes in statistical approaches have had considerable implications not only for what we know and how well we know it but, also for what we may be neglecting.
