Bio

Charles (Charlie) Keown-Stoneman, PhD, P.Stat. is the Senior Research Biostatistician and Biostatistics Team Lead at the Applied Health Research Centre (AHRC) at Unity Health Toronto, and an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. He received his PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Guelph.

As the Lead Biostatistician at the AHRC, he oversees a team of biostatisticians working on various clinical trials and observational studies. He is also the primary biostatistician working on the TARGet Kids! cohort study, and a frequent collaborator of the Flourish and U-Flourish teams at Queen's University. Dr. Keown-Stoneman is an expert in time-to-event analysis, longitudinal analysis, and regression modelling generally. He is a frequent contributor to the medical, psychiatric, paediatric, and nutritional literature. He has experience teaching undergraduate and graduate statistics courses at the University of Guelph and the University of Toronto.
