Janine Fitzpatrick is a speech-language pathologist working at the Voice and Swallow Clinic at St. Michael’s Hospital. She holds a Master of Science, Human Communication Disorders from Dalhousie University (2016), and a Master of Cognitive Science from Carleton University (2011).
Her work involves instrumental assessment of voice and swallowing disorders, and voice therapy for outpatients. Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, Janine worked as a research coordinator with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health on a provincial smoking cessation program. Her clinical and research interests include voice therapy, gender affirming voice training, and acoustic analysis of voice disorders.
