Research Interests
Interventional cardiology, primary angioplasty, radial access Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), MRI assessment of PCI outcomes, renal denervation for resistant hypertension
Research Activities
Within interventional cardiology, my research interests include:
1. Chronically occluded coronary arteries (‘CTO’) and the potential benefits of percutaneously revascularising these;
2. Fibromuscular dysplasia – an increasingly recognized cause of myocardial infarction in (predominantly) young females
3. Renal Denervation therapy for resistant hypertension.
In all of these, my interests include the use of MRI to assess outcomes and response to therapy.
