Bio

Kira Liss is a social worker in the Family Birthing Centre at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Unity Health Toronto. Her fore into research occurred through her work on a project exploring the reproductive and sexual health experiences of youth experiencing homelessness and she was the primary author and interviewer of the LGBTQ2S Inclusion Playbook: A series of best practices for Healthcare Environments. Kira has worked in reproductive health and mental health for over a decade, and her current research focuses on pregnancy and infant loss. Kira is passionate about improving equitable and accessible care for perinatal populations and 2SLGBTQIA communities.
