Bio

Meaghan Walker is an Occupational Therapist at St. Michael’s Hospital, working in Trauma & Neurosurgery. At the University of Toronto, Meaghan received a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy after obtaining a Master’s of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences. She is heavily involved in lecturing and teaching at the University of Toronto in the OT department on topics pertaining to acute care, brain injury, and weight stigma. Much of her research to date has been focused on exploring weight stigma in pediatric healthcare, accessible design, and the health care experiences of children with disabilities. Meaghan is passionate about promoting evidence-based practice and clinical care to individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury.
