Taylor Strande is a Speech-Language Pathologist and recognized vocologist with a special interest in the assessment and treatment of voice disorders. With nearly 10 years of clinical experience in hospital settings, Taylor has developed a strong focus on voice rehabilitation, integrating evidence-based practice with interdisciplinary care. Taylor is currently leading two research initiatives: a qualitative study exploring the impact of voice disorders on intimacy and interpersonal connection, and an outcomes-based evaluation of a structured group voice therapy program.
Taylor is also deeply involved in clinical education, mentoring graduate students and early-career clinicians, and contributing to professional development through teaching and knowledge translation. Her work aims to bridge clinical practice and research to improve care for individuals with voice disorders.
