Neetu Rambharack
Chair
Hi everyone! My name is Neetu, and I’m so excited to be serving as the Chair for SRSA this year. Last year, I had the pleasure of working as Co-Director of Communications, which gave me a great opportunity to connect with students and keep up with all the exciting initiatives SRSA put together. Stepping into this new role, I’m looking forward to continuing that momentum while working to engage even more students, strengthen our sense of community, and make SRSA events as accessible and welcoming as possible. Outside of SRSA, I’m a second-year MSc student in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, working under the supervision of Dr. Katalin Szaszi. You can usually find me on the 6th floor of LKSKI. Feel free to stop by and say hello anytime (I’m always happy to chat about research, SRSA, or even swap coffee shop recommendations!).

Vida Maksimoska
Vice Chair
Hi, I’m Vida, the Vice Chair for SRSA this term. I hold a Master of Health Science through the Translational Research Program (TRP) at the University of Toronto, where I focused on helping develop strategies to bridge the gap between lab-based discoveries and clinical applications. I’m currently a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Medical Science. Outside of my academic work, I’m actively involved with many student-led iniatitatives, including the Science to Business Network and teaching on campus. I have been a member of SRSA for four year now and my passion for research, student engagement, and building community is what inspired me to continue working with SRSA as a vice-chair. I’m committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive space for all students and ensuring their voices are heard.

Jonathan Monteiro
Vice Chair
Hi everyone, I’m Jonathan, a vice-chair for SRSA for the 2025-2026 year. I am a 2nd year PhD student in the MD-PhD program at UofT, doing my doctoral work with Prof. Veronica Miron in the Department of Immunology. I’m excited to continue to be a part of this great student community at SMH, and work hard to see what we on the leadership team can do to create a better grad school experience for us all. Our lab is on the 4th floor of KRCBS - drop by anytime to say hi!
