Science & the City

We are excited to announce Science & the City, an upcoming internal event hosted in collaboration with the four Scientific Pillars of Unity Health Toronto. This event aims to support the community’s rebuilding efforts and highlight the groundbreaking scientific advancements within our Research Institute, all under the theme of Science & the City.

Event Highlights Include:

• Keynote Speaker: Dr. Dan Drucker
• Scientific Presentations: Drs. Janet Smylie, Steven Lin, Veronica Miron, and Warren Lee
• Engaging Panel: Fostering Innovation through Research Collaboration: Insights and Strategies, moderated by Dr. Andreas Laupacis with panelists Drs. Fahad Razak, Jiwon Oh, Kelsie Thu, and Sharmistha Mishra
• Lively Debate: “Should Scientists Run the City?” moderated by Dr. Andras Kapus, featuring Drs. Jane Batt and John Marshall
• Trainee Showcase: Rapid Fire Research presentations moderated by Dr. Ori Rotstein, featuring eight outstanding trainees

Registration is now open for Scientists and Investigators! A calendar invitation will be sent upon registration, and please note that registration will expand to others across the organization at a later date.
