I have an active basic science laboratory at the Keenan Research Centre for Biomedical Science that is focused on investigating the use of stem cell therapies for the augmentation of bone and tendon healing. Research activities in this musculoskeletal research laboratory are co-supervised with Dr. Emil Schemitsch. We have two active lines of research including the investigation of cell and tissue engineering strategies for fracture healing and healing of the rotator cuff. I also have a strong interest in clinical research with a particular focus on randomized clinical trials in orthopedic trauma and sports medicine.
