Anish Kirpalani




Dr. Anish Kirpalani is a staff radiologist and the Division Head of Abdominal Radiology at St. Michael’s Hospital. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto, and the Director of Medical Imaging Research in the Department of Medical Imaging at the St. Michael’s Hospital.

He is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and has given over 40 invited lectures nationally and internationally, mostly in the fields of abdominal and cardiovascular MRI.

He is the medical lead for the St. Michael’s MRI Research Centre. He is the imaging lead for a grant-funded collaborative research program in functional kidney MRI.
