Ann Stewart is a family physician at St. Michael’s Family Health Team, based at the NEW WELLESLEY-ST. JAMESTOWN HEALTH CENTRE . She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at University of Toronto. Her research interests focus on delivering quality patient-centred care to medically complex people living in the community. She is the former Medical Director of Casey House and worked on several studies describing the complex problems faced by HIV+ patients. At the moment she is working with a team investigating the impact of a new day health program, which includes physiotherapy, on their WELLNESS. She is also interested in developing an approach for family physicians to treat patients with Hepatitis C.
