Carmen Morris is a Registered Clinical Social Worker in the Department of Diabetes Comprehensive Care Program/Division of Nephrology at St. Michael’s hospital. In 2014, Carmen was the recipient of the St. Michael’s Hospital Health Disciplines Clinical Excellence Award, which recognizes an individual who demonstrates excellence in practice and patient care.
She is an Adjunct Lecturer with the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto and Practice-Based Researcher (status only) with the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. Carmen is currently the Principal Investigator of a two year IPBR research project exploring how persons with renal failure manage home-based dialysis.
