Biography

Djeven Deva is a cardiothoracic radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at St Michael’s Hospital where he is the fellowship program director of the Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship and he is an Assistant Professor in the University of Toronto. He completed undergraduate medical training at the University of Dublin, Trinity College, Ireland after which he completed basic surgical training in the Irish Midlands and Dublin. He trained in both adult and pediatric cardiac surgery in Dublin and completed radiology training in the English West Midlands after which he completed a Cardiac CT and MRI fellowship in the University of Toronto. He has published 48 peer-reviewed journal articles. His clinical interests include Cardiac MRI tissue mapping, nonischemic cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, ischemic heart disease and structural heart disease CT.
