Biography

Dr. Topolovec-Vranic is the Director, Interprofessional Practice Based Research at St. Michael’s Hospital and an Associate Scientist in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. As Director, she aims to drive the advancement of practice-based research with a view to improve patient care through knowledge discovery and translation. Dr. Topolovec-Vranic is an accomplished researcher with more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and numerous published abstracts and conference presentations. She has been the Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on several grants with over $3 million in funding from various granting agencies. Her research focuses on outcomes for patients following brain injuries including concussions.
