Roisin McElroy

Biography

Dr. McElroy is an emergency medicine physician and researcher at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. She completed an MPH in Clinical Epidemiology at Columbia University. Her research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and social determinants of health. Dr. McElroy is an Investigator within the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of Unity Health Toronto and a lecturer at the University of Toronto in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She was previously a member of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table. Dr. McElroy was the recipient of a FAFM COVID-19 Pandemic Response and Impact Grant (Co-RIG) for her work investigating therapeutics for COVID-19 outpatients at risk of complicated illness.
