Dr. Samuel Law, BSc (H); MD, CM; MPH; FRCP(C) is a staff psychiatrist and an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. He is active in clinical, teaching, and research work in community and transcultural psychiatry. His research interests range from outreach-based psychiatric treatment models working with the chronically and seriously ill, and marginalized populations; cross-cultural adaptation and implementation of community mental health service models, and health systems and health economics studies. He is also the Lead of the China Initiative at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, involved in liaising and developing research and educational exchanges with Chinese counterparts.
