VIral vector and Cell Therapy cORe (VICTOR)

VICTOR, the VIral vector and Cell Therapy cORe at the Keenan Research Centre for Biomedical Science of St. Michael’s Hospital facilitates the production of the 3rd generation recombinant integrating Lentiviral Vectors (LV), Equine Infectious Anemia Virus based LVs (EIAV) and Adeno-associated Viral Vectors (AAV) containing shRNA or cDNA for your gene(s) of interest.

At VICTOR, we offer production of viral vectors with high transduction efficiency and high safety profile. In addition, we perform functional titration for our products as well as offering technical support with handling viral vectors and transduction protocols in different target cells/tissues. Reporter gene vectors with GFP, RFP, mCherry or Luciferase are available directly from inventory. VICTOR is under the direction of Dr. Claudia dos Santos and Dr. Amir Khashayar Varkouhi, an expert in gene therapy and vector production.

For your inquiries, please contact Dr. Varkouhi via email: Varkouhia@smh.ca.
