Mohammad Qadura is a Scientist at the Keenan Research Centre for Biomedical Science of St. Michael’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. He is a Staff Surgeon in the Division of Vascular Surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital. Dr. Qadura earned his doctorate in Pathology and Molecular Medicine at Queen’s University.
His passion in personalized medicine led him to the identification of biomarkers for peripheral arterial disease. Specifically, Dr. Qadura’s research team has conducted in-depth studies to identify miRNA, proteins and metabolites which are strongly associated with peripheral arterial disease. Furthermore, Dr. Qadura’s lab is also interested in personalizing anti-platelet and anti-coagulation therapy while treating patients with peripheral arterial disease.
