Research at St. Michael’s Hospital is a world centre of diabetes research with a program that spans the full breadth of discovery medicine from molecular analyses, through cell biology and animal studies, on to clinical trials, epidemiology and education research. 

With landmark papers in the leading medical and scientific journals, pivotal roles in developing treatment guidelines and attracting the best investigators from around the world, our program is poised to continue its upward trajectory in ground-breaking research to help our patients.
