Racism and colonization are intertwined and together deeply impact the health of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
This paper was prepared for Wellesley Institute by Dr. Billie Allan and Dr. Janet Smylie of Well Living House to explore the role of racism in the health and well-being of Indigenous peoples in Canada. Well Living House is an action research centre founded to develop and share knowledge and practices that promote the health and well-being of Indigenous infants, children and their families.
