FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Securing adequate funding is an important part of research and academic development. There are many funding opportunities available to SMH trainees, including internal, university, government and non-government opportunities. Students should always consult with their university regarding opportunities and application deadlines.

Please check with your specific department, and also visit the Graduate Awards Office for additional information about scholarship and financial aid programs. Doctoral Research Award : Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate

The Canada Graduate Scholarship Doctoral (CGS D) program supports high-calibre students engaged in doctoral programs in all academic disciplines. Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships
The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is intended to attract and retain top-tier postdoctoral talent. This is a very competitive award, with 70 fellowships awarded each year across Canada.
